Participated in fabrication work for their newest exhibit: Nature Exchange

Project Overview

I assisted with the fabrication process of the Kidspace Children’s Museum's newest exhibit: Nature Exchange. This is a space for younger kids and their families to relax and read a book. There are plenty of themed bookshelves and soft cushions.

My Role

Fabrication Crew

I completed fabrication work for the exhibit, where I helped with sanding, upholstering, priming, and painting the various elements of the space. Since it’s a children’s museum, we made sure it was built to last and that there were no rough edges.

Outcomes

Despite a demanding timeline, the exhibit was completed and installed successfully. I learned how to read construction documents and gained valuable fabrication skills.
